I worked on Bed Bath & Beyond NZ's Shopify Plus store collaborated with Moustache Republic, building on Shopify's Horizon theme and custom-developing what it didn't cover out of the box.
The brief
Bed Bath & Beyond NZ needed a high-performing, robust Shopify Plus storefront to elevate their online retail experience and better serve their customer base across New Zealand.
Working in collaboration with Moustache Republic, the project required leveraging modern Shopify standards while building tailored functionality that standard themes couldn't provide out of the box.
What I built
The store is built on Horizon, Shopify's own theme, extended with custom development for Shopify Plus.
Beyond what the base theme provided, I was responsible for developing custom frontend features, tailoring the user experience for seamless navigation, and integrating specialized functionalities to support their complex retail catalog and promotional workflows.
The result
The launch delivered a streamlined, fast-loading, and visually polished Shopify Plus storefront that significantly improved the day-to-day management of their online operations and provided their customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
